As a Security Officer - Screening Intake in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support access control by verifying badges, screening visitors, and monitoring entry points. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help maintain an orderly environment. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and established screening procedures.
Monitor entry points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorized access while maintaining accurate logs and records.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
