As a Security Officer Screening Documentation in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by screening individuals and/or items, monitoring assigned areas, reporting concerns, and maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment, access points, and inbound or outbound activity; identify prohibited items, irregularities, or unauthorized access attempts and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, dock areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
