About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Attendant in Gluckstadt, Mississippi, you will help maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a logistics location. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, report security-related concerns, provide professional customer service, communicate with site personnel, and support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, and integrity. The role involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and critical situations, and conducting patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, and integrity.
