Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and/or staff, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine site activities, and help address security-related concerns while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a high-traffic technology location.
  • Screen people, packages, and/or deliveries entering designated areas, helping to identify prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, and/or other unusual activity for follow-up.
  • Monitor entry points and credential verification processes, assist with visitor management, and communicate screening results or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, lobbies, and perimeter access points, as directed by post orders and location needs.
