As a Security Officer Screening Agent Full Time in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support screening operations, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and location policies, documenting screening-related activity and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support order and continuity of operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, entry points, and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions within shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or security-related concerns, and communicate observations, incidents, and needed follow-up through appropriate reporting channels.
