As a Security Officer Bicycle Customer Assistance Patrol in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government school location. You will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at educational facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures during school hours and events.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts, school personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.
