As an unarmed Security Officer, you will help support a welcoming residential community through routine vehicle and bike patrols, access control, and visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position calls for strong communication, customer service, and professionalism while reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bicycle.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential streets, common areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the residential community, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations according to site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
