Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Greet and assist visitors, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and coordinate authorized access to the location.
  • Monitor front desk communications and security-related systems, responding to calls, alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document security-related activity and promptly report unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide directions and general assistance while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence in a busy retail environment.
