Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk responsibilities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner.
  • Answer phones, assist with visitor registration, issue access credentials when applicable, and communicate clearly with staff, guests, and/or vendors regarding entry procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Maintain awareness of activity at the front desk and surrounding entry points, document security-related events, and support a professional atmosphere within a financial institution location.
