As a Security Officer Reception Post in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will help create a welcoming presence while monitoring access, observing activity, and supporting security-related operations. In this customer-facing role, you will communicate with professionalism, assist visitors and tenants, and contribute to a people-first culture built on teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor access according to property guidelines, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to security-related activities at the location.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support daily operations at the front desk while following Allied Universal standards and site policies.
