As a Front Desk Officer at a premier retail location, you will serve as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access management activities, and front desk support tasks at the location.
  • Monitor lobby and/or entrance activity, verify visitor information, issue passes or credentials as directed, and report unusual or suspicious activity to site contacts in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations at the front desk with professionalism, clear communication, and appropriate escalation of security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and/or incident documentation, and help to support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet incoming guests, and help to direct foot traffic while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
