Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this highly visible role, you will help support daily security-related operations while representing a caring, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the property lobby and reception area by verifying visitor information, issuing passes or credentials, and reporting unusual activity to site management and/or emergency contacts.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, and direct tenants, vendors, and deliveries in a professional manner while supporting front desk operations and security-related protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident reports to support daily operations and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
