As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support site operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and by completing daily logs, incident reports, and other assigned security-related documentation.
