About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor public areas and/or restricted spaces for unusual activity, assist with visitor and employee interactions, and communicate with local authorities and site contacts when needed.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, addressing policy-related issues with professionalism, and providing visible presence throughout assigned areas.
