Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors through strong communication and customer service while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor direction, and help support daily operations by reporting security-related issues, policy violations, and property-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activity, support tenant relations, and contribute to an orderly environment.
