About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Wilmington, Delaware, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to help maintain a welcoming environment. The role involves conducting regular and random unarmed patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting patrols and observations. Officers follow site-specific policies, post orders, and escalation procedures while serving employees, visitors, contractors, and other authorized personnel.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other authorized personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout project locations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities to help deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of site conditions.
