As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support visitor, contractor, and/or delivery processing in line with site rules.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in written or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.
