As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license if it is a driving position.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and provide assistance with visitor direction, employee inquiries, and other customer service needs.
• Support branch operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when situations require additional attention.
