As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This role involves working as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and support daily operations with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that prioritizes people and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and property activity, assisting with visitor interactions, policy awareness, and/or directional support within a commercial real estate location.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or first responders as needed regarding security-related issues, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
