Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or campus contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured entries, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas while remaining visible and approachable, helping to support policy compliance and directing individuals according to location procedures.
• Support daily operations at the location by reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity, and assisting with security-related inquiries, escorts, and incident follow-up as needed.
