About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and follow site procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and contractor access.
• Support operational continuity by reporting hazards, equipment issues, and policy violations, and by assisting with evacuations, alarms, and other security-related or emergency situations.
