About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity throughout the site. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers entering and leaving the location, while following site-specific post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Support facility operations by observing equipment areas, checking doors, gates, and restricted spaces, and communicating maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
