About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Point Monitor in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to the community.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around residential common areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Communicate with residents, property management, and/or emergency services as needed while maintaining accurate logs, reports, and other required access control records.
