As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Edmond, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, support site access procedures, and perform routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures, verifying credentials, and following site-specific security-related policies for a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, screen authorized vehicles and/or individuals, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with post orders and facility protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around loading areas, gates, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or operational disruptions by maintaining a visible presence, observing site activity, and reporting concerns promptly through established channels.
