Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and/or credential verification at entry and exit points.
• Monitor entry gates, dock doors, trailer yards, and/or restricted areas to help control authorized access, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support site personnel with appropriate emergency response activities and related communications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and/or operational hazards.
