As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report findings to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and/or delivery logs to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, screening areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with duties varying based on location conditions and operational needs.
