About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Shakopee, Minnesota, for a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The position requires driving and a valid driver’s license. The officer provides customer service and communication while maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, and helping deter security-related incidents.

The officer carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities; monitors access points and visitor activity; responds to incidents; and documents observations and security operations. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.60 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, document observations, and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs.
