As a Security Officer / Driver in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and document daily events, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and helping to maintain orderly operations during changing conditions.
