As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Mall Center in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a premier retail and mall environment, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, provide directions and assistance to visitors, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
