As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and surrounding grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as unauthorized access, suspicious activity, property damage, parking issues, and/or hazards, and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, and general information while maintaining a professional presence in a neighborhood retail environment.
