As a Security Officer in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history
• Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor processing, deliveries, and/or contractor arrivals.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, coworkers, and/or first responders during routine and unusual events.
