As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Overnight in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, observe conditions, and report concerns involving people, property, and/or operations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and support orderly movement of visitors and personnel in accordance with site protocols.
  • Assist with handling medical-related or facility-related disruptions by following post instructions, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
