Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access authorization as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized persons from restricted areas.
Support staff and visitors with directions, questions, and/or assistance requests while maintaining awareness of site conditions and following post instructions.
