As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, following post orders for screening, credential checks, and visitor processing.
Observe facility operations and report hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
