Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, approvals, and/or visitor information, and document access activity in support of community access procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Communicate with residents, property staff, and/or authorized contacts regarding deliveries, guest arrivals, contractor access, and other security-related matters.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, property concerns, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
