As a Security Officer Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support residents and guests with professional customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help to deter security-related incidents while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, community policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to the residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activities according to site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community, common areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Communicate with residents, property management, and/or first responders regarding access issues, incidents, and post orders while maintaining professional presence at the assigned location.
