As a Security Officer Gated Community in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and support residents and visitors with professional customer service. This role includes routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and using clear communication and teamwork to support daily operations. Requirements

  • Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit by verifying authorization, communicating with residents regarding visitor access, and documenting relevant activity.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and communication records related to visitor access, deliveries, service providers, and/or incident activity.
