Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer serving a residential community location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support residents and guests with professionalism while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative values through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting community rules, property policies, and traffic directions.
  • Assist with routine security-related checks of the location, noting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy issues and communicating them through appropriate reporting channels.
