As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Support in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and document security-related activities using computer or tablet technology. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, driver, and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
