About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and security-related support activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, document observations and incidents, and prepare clear reports related to daily activities and security-related events.
• Assist with enforcing property rules, directing visitors, and addressing routine questions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
