Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in an education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, assisting with directions, policy awareness, and security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders when needed.
