About The Position

As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Burlington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while following site protocols and documenting relevant details.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, support orderly operations, and report concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Support a professional presence throughout the location by communicating with staff and visitors, providing directions when needed, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or security-related issues.
