About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, vendor, and/or delivery access in accordance with site policies and post orders.
Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing trailer yards, dock activity, and high-traffic areas, and communicating security-related issues in a timely manner.
