Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site procedures, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily location operations by remaining visible, providing directions and assistance, and following Allied Universal protocols for reporting, communication, and incident response.
