Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while reporting observations and activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout exhibit areas, lobbies, entrances, event spaces, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic during programs and events, and/or support orderly entry and exit procedures for guests and staff.
• Observe the location for maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
