About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Associate in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift while working with integrity and teamwork to put people first.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, and assigned areas to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or potential hazards common to an industrial chemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and help support authorized access control practices.
  • Communicate with site contacts, coworkers, and/or local responders when needed to relay information, assist with incident response, and support daily security-related operations.
