As a Security Officer Patrol Associate Full Time in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, corridors, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
• Support hotel and resort operations by assisting with directions, answering questions, and coordinating with site contacts during unusual situations, events, and/or after-hours activity.
