As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Mays Landing, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and support access activity with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required by site procedures, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and following post orders for assigned duties.
