As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Mount Olive, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, supporting a secure environment, and helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This unarmed patrol role requires strong communication, customer service, and professionalism, within a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support screening and badge processes in line with location requirements.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including following post orders, communicating with first responders and/or site management, and directing people during facility disruptions or evacuations.
