As a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support property rules, and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with customer service requests, provide directions and information, and support a professional atmosphere for guests and staff throughout the location.
